Cami Covey-Doucet is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona. 
Okay, so I hate the stuffiness of a ‘bio’ so let me tell you in my own words what I am all
about.  At the start of my career, I worked with male adolescent sexual offenders.
I began to understand the far reaching effects of sexual addiction, and as I became educated academically, I too recovered from an early wounding, which has greatly increased my practical understanding. I feel I am now on a mission.

 

 My mission is to repair families and individuals who have been devastated by sexual abuse and sexual addiction. I work with addicts, victims, spouses, and families on all levels. These two issues (sexual addiction and being a victim of a sexual crime)are not necessarily related, however, they all stem from the same type of unhealthiness.

 

Sometimes I ask myself how I got involved in this work because on the outside it appears so messy but on the inside are amazing people who have every vulnerability, honor, gift and fight as any human being can have. In essence, I love this work! I also have extensive experience working with adolescents in areas of anxiety/depression and other general mental health issues.
