In addiction recovery we often talk about ‘one day at a time’ and even sometimes we go further to say one minute at a time, seems like quite a gift to have this information and to be actively, intentionally plugging it in every day.  I remember being a little girl, we used to have a club called the ‘yellow jackets’ (3 of my best girlfriends and myself), our only concern as  little kids was what the day held, we really lived in the moment, laughed at every little thing and gloried when our dues reached the dollar mark.  We had big dreams of buying black jackets with yellow stripes on them and someday building a fort out of real wood but for that day cardboard, leftover washrags, and random garbage would do just fine…we were all about the moment.  Living intentionally is a gift and a choice, we can learn/grow/become from each person and experience we encounter….what is the Universe trying to teach you today about the moment?
