Music and Sound Artistry Guide
Music has always been one of the most important things in my life. It has brought me my greatest moments of joy and comforted me in my darkest moments of sorrow. When I graduated from Yoga teacher training in 2013, it was love at first sound when I experienced my first sound healing. With 15 years of musical experience, I was naturally drawn to sound healing instruments such as the gong and
crystal singing bowls. I began studying everything I could on sound healing and meditation as well as all things holistic and mind body positive. Seven years later, I have cultivated the knowledge and experience that I bring into my sound and music coaching sessions today. I have collected my eastern studies of sound and combined
them with over a decade of western musical training through voice, guitar, piano, and other various instruments.
I truly believe in the powerful healing abilities of music and sound. In the busy world we live in, stillness and mindfulness are harder and harder to find. Through music and sound, we give our bodies a chance to soften, surrender, and revitalize. I believe that connecting to sound and music through our own voices as well as instruments, we can cultivate an invaluable tool for self-empowerment, processing, and healing. It is my intention to connect people to their “inner musician”, awakening their voice, and giving them an opportunity to express themselves through singing, drumming, songwriting, sound healing, and many other forms of this modern and ancient art form.
